Onions; keep blood free of clots.

~ To keep blood free of clots, eat onions,both raw and cooked, and it is advised that patients with coronary diseases to eat onions daily,partly because their compounds hinder platelet clumping and speed up clot dissolving activity. Onions have a truly astonishing ability to counteract the detrimental clot- promoting effects of eating fatty foods.

~ When you eat fatty foods,add some onions .that slice of onion on your fatty food or the onions on your omelet or on your pizza may help counteract the clot promoting powers of the fatty foods.

Onions are exceptionally strong antioxidant. Full of numerous anticancer agent,it is the richest dietary source of quercetin ,a potent antioxidant ( in shallots,yellow,and red onions only- not white onions) .Specifically linked to inhibiting human cancer .

~Thins the blood,lowers cholesterol, raises good type High density lipoprotein ( HDL) cholesterol, ( half raw onion a day) ,wards off blood clots ,fight asthma,chronic bronchitis, hay fever,diabetes, atherosclerosis and infections .

~ Onions are anti- inflammatory, antibiotic, antiviral, and has diverse anti- cancer powers. Quercetin is also a sedative .
